Partly cloudy

18x24", graphite. I always use HB automatic pencil 0,5 . No need to sharpen, you can get the deepest black, just patiently crosshatching until you get there. Drawing is not for hasty.

My birthday flowers

My family loves me. They know I do not like wimpy ikebana stuff: two stems and a dry twig. Give me my flowers in loud bunches as big as good sized brooms. This way I have enough subjects to choose and paint. Better yet, paint them all together. Here, then.
24"x30", pastel on grey Canson paper.

Vine

One of my favorites. Couldn't bring myself to sell it. Silly, right?

INTRIGUE

Drawing, 17"x14".
This dress actually exists. It was made for King Richard's Fair, from light blue and cream satin, with cream lace. One of the first costumes designed and made by my daughter #1.
