Crimson Petal

Nothing teaches one as well as sheer practice of copying straight from the Nature. Even the best camera limits the seen to obvious, leaving out delicate nuances. Of course, in the hands of a good professional photographer a camera can do wonders. Then s/he is called artist photographer, and copying from another artist is not the point of this exercise. The point here was to make an exercise to look as good as any creative work. This one is sold.

Alpha & Omega

14"x17"
Graphite on paper

This plastic beauty was a birthday present from my eldest pride and joy Miriam. I named it Marie-Antoinette. Last year's present was a bokken sword.

A hat for Simone

This is the first hat I created. It is made out of a black straw baseball cap, some cheap mesh fabric and my old brooch from the eighties. Simone loved it. I enjoyed making it. For the next hat I'll order real millinery supplies: veil with dots and such.
